Description
First World Goal: How did I become who I am being?
The First World is the playing field where our earliest sense of self begins to develop. It includes the body and base character we arrive within, alongside the family, culture, resources, relationships, environments, and circumstances we enter the game through.
This world provides the foundation for our identity: who we learned to be, what helped us feel safe and valued, how we learned to think and communicate, and what became familiar, normal, or true. Some of these codes are natural to us, while others were inherited, taught, modelled, or adopted in response to the conditions around us.
Exploring the First World helps us begin separating the two. What is naturally part of our own unique code, and what other codes have we picked up and inherited along the way? Before we can consciously choose who we are becoming, it helps to understand how the person we currently know as βmeβ was formed.
